How everyone did
The Cellar Log
The daily game for beer explorers
Every country has its beer: the one on every bar menu and in every corner-shop fridge, the one you order on your first night somewhere new. Brewguessr is a daily game about those beers.
Each day there's a new beer from somewhere in the world. Start with a close-up of the bottle, break a seal for a new clue with every wrong guess, and work out which country it's brewed in within six tries.
Questions
When does the new beer come out?
Every day at midnight GMT. Everyone in the world gets the same beer on the same day.
Is Brewguessr free?
Yes. There's no account and nothing to download. It works in any browser, on a phone or a computer.
How do the clues work?
You get six clues, one at a time: a close-up of the bottle, the bottle cap, the region, the style of beer and a year from its history, the full label with any mention of the country removed, and finally a fun fact. Tap the numbers in the Day Book to look back at earlier clues.
What do Hot, Warmer and Colder mean?
Each guess shows how far your country is from the answer and an arrow pointing the way on a map. Hot means your country shares a border with the answer. Warmer and Colder compare your guess with your previous one.
Missed a day?
Every day's beer stays under Past brews, so you can play any day you missed.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Open Friends, share your invite link, and you'll see each other's results for the day. No sign-up needed.
Is Brewguessr connected to any of the breweries?
No. Brewguessr is an independent game and isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any brewery or beer brand. Beer names, labels and logos belong to their owners and are shown only so you can identify each beer.
Who is Brewguessr for?
